HouseHouse

Panoramic view of the mountains and the complex topography of the sloping plot became the strongest aspects of the context, that influenced the form of the house design. The House with energy-saving assumptions, opens with the longer façade on to the southern slope, providing a beautiful view from the most important rooms. Partially hollowed body of the building on the northern side protects against heat loss. The building is located at the highest possible point of the plot and is divided into two parts. This division is reflected in the functional zoning of the building. Clearly separated night and day zones provide residents with a access to the multilevel garden from every room. In addition, a strong division gives lightness to the form of the building. With the use of the simplest methodes, the building suits the lanscape and becomes a contemporary interpretation of the local Beskid architecture.
