The proposal for the Pakistan Monument in Islamabad is considered one of the milestones of the firm and at the time was considered a frontrunner in terms of pure design. Coming in 2nd place in the competition, the entry nonetheless allowed the firm to attain much exposure nationally and allow it to progress further. As digital copies were not in vogue at that time, the work shown here is of a lower quality than would be preferred but nonetheless imparts the feel of the design well.
