This tenant improvement took a dilapidated space of a former physical therapy office and transformed it into a bright, warm and welcoming office space. All interior walls were removed, along with floor covering, ceiling material, and all plumbing fixtures. Once stripped, the new, functional, ADA-compliant layout was implemented. The space required a high-tech AV infrastructure able to accommodate teleconferencing.
The interior finish color palette is inspired by the images of floating lanterns from Shinnyo-en's Annual Memorial Day Lantern Floating Festival. Architectural interest was added through strategic placement of art niches, accent wall color, cove LED lighting, as well as interior finishes not normally found in an office environment, such as glass accent tiles. This interior scope subsequently expanded to include improvements to the exterior of the building, such as exterior painting, signage and roof repair coordination.
