this new ground-up home was designed as a retirement home for two Michiganders. the lot on the south side of a lake with a steep bank allowed for some great views across the watershed. the owners wanted a fairly simple home with flexible extra bedrooms for visiting family and friends as well as an open living space on two levels that would spill outdoors in the warmer months.
