This is my house and office.  It is built on a lot that's only 780sq.ft. Since the house is over 900 sq.ft it is actually larger then the lot size.

Because there is such a conflation of lot and building, the building becomes the lot. This is reinforced by placing trees on the roof - an extruded garden.  The living space is simply the remaining 'infill' space below the extrusion.
