This upmarket  home in Wilston,Brisbane is designed on a 10.0 wide block sloping downwards from front to rear. The design constraints must meet the Brisbane Small Lot Code in regards to setbacks, height restrictions and overall building footprint. 

The overall design brief was to have;

1. Two levels at the street frontage and capture the brisbane city views at the rear.
2. Four bedrooms, min two bathrooms and two main living areas.
3. Modern facade that appealed to buyers
4. Double garage

Complicating the construction of the design was stormwater overland flow which meant that a large portion of the lower level must not impede the flow storm water across the block of land. This in itself provided many design challenges. 

The final design result is a  small lot home design that is well planned out, looks aesthetically pleasing and a design that the will owners absolutely love for many years to come.
