As the new first-class provincial celebrity city, Changsha, in the Hunan province, has been rated as the happiest city in China for 14 years running. Numerous people have chosen to settle here due to the area’s access to high-quality healthcare, education and urban supporting resources.

The Zhonghai · LA CITE, which is located here, is close to the Xiangzi River Park and Changsha University of Science & Technology. It is endowed naturally with the cultural character and urban energy brought about by its humanistic geographic location.

From the viewpoints of the consumers, the designers take into account realistic and vivid daily scenes and pay attention to the inner needs of each family member. Thus, a range of features have been developed, such as parent-child interaction, family education, life hobbies, and extreme storage, to improve the quality of life for residents and realize the project's intended benefit.

The interior conveys a light retro Southeast Asian style. The spatial layers are enriched by the contrast in item scale and the mix of natural materials, while the visual aesthetics is enhanced by pure geometric artistic expression. Combined, they give off a cosy vibe.

In the dining area, the space with a transparent pattern that can be opened and closed help residents’ life more organized. The study is like a natural laboratory, filled with specimens of plants and minerals on the walls, table piled high with palaeontology books, and extensive research notes. 

Besides, the master bedroom's entire design radiates simplicity and freedom, exuding a serene and relaxed vibe. The kid's room carries on the museum theme with a fresh colour scheme of nature, as if they were deer running and sheep grazing in the woods. Each item is meticulously crafted into specimens to be valued. On the balcony, light an oil lamp, set up the oven, make a pot of coffee, and family members can enjoy a pleasant evening together.
