The Fashion Institute of Technology ALABS project creates a work environment which reflects a variety of creative processes taking place on campus. The project is composed of 14 labs ranging from fragrance, fabric and dye testing to jewelry, shoe, toy, and print design. Utilizing a green palette of materials the lab spaces were designed to maximize natural daylight and open views to the exhibition and circulation galleries connecting the lab spaces to the rest of the FIT campus.
