Tanulo Coffee, established in 2022 in Bandung's Mekar Wangi area designed by Simpul Studio, occupies a 560m² plot within a residential neighborhood. The design emphasizes creating visitor experiences through a journey from the entrance, past seating and garden areas, to two main structures: a coffee bar and a meeting room. With a high, skylight roof, the main building optimizes natural light, while glass doors enhance the interaction between interior and exterior spaces. Materials like andesite stone and rough cement plaster reinforce the tropical concept. The use of a steel frame system accommodates the site's location, while landscaping integrates seating areas, greenery, and play zones, creating a cohesive, shaded environment.
