México Distrito Federal, MX
One of the world's leading companies specializing in hearing devices was looking for a new space for its offices in Mexico City. Starting from an almost empty location and aiming to maximize the use of existing materials without compromising the project's aesthetics, these 340 m² offices emerged.
This space is designed with a central work area dedicated to operational employees, executives, and occasional visitors, as well as a perimeter area for consult rooms and product storage, allowing the company to accommodate its various needs in one space.
Upon entering, patients are greeted in a waiting room that leads to a hallway connecting the consult rooms and the company's showroom, where the latest hearing products are displayed.
A strategically located reception at the beginning of this hallway facilitates patient organization and product delivery, controlling access to the offices.
In the private area, the dining room is first, followed by the operational workspaces with collaboration tables. Additionally, there is a concentration space and an area designated for occasional visitors.
Finally, the executive offices offer a privileged view to the south of the city, allowing natural light to illuminate the entire space, thanks to oak lambrines.
From the lobby, which has a reception to control access, to the dining room where employees can enjoy a moment of disconnection, Cochlear MX's offices are designed to reflect the characteristic style of the international headquarters while retaining the essence of Mexico City.
This is reflected in the neutral color palette that uses oak wood lambrines as a base, covering most of the office walls, and contrasting with a perforated panel wall in an intense yellow tone, which divides the reception from the office area.
This design makes the most of every square meter, providing comfortable spaces for both visitors and employees. This is achieved through good distribution combined with tones and materials that take advantage of natural light, providing well-being for users.
