The Onhye-ri Jeong Yeong-ja House was designed in consideration of the context of the Onhye-gye head family of the Lee Clan in Jinseong, Andong, which is preserved under the Cultural Heritage Protection Act. The house exhibits pre-modern architecture with traditional stone walls and dark gray tiled roofs, and serves to preserve the cultural heritage of the surrounding landscape. In addition, the space between the roof and the stone wall was used as a natural space to form a unique landscape of the place. The interior design of the house emphasizes the natural and free movement along the roofline and sky seen from the courtyard. This design seeks to vividly show current life in a landscape that contains the value of cultural heritage and memories of history.
