The interior project is set in the township of Olympia Panache, in a sprawling home of 6000 sqft. The client wanted the largeness of the house to come alive while also keeping their private spaces intimate. The interior design concept focused on the experiential journey the home can offer rather than individual spaces and their treatment. The transition from the public spaces of the home was characterised by a paced increase in intimacy. While the public and semi-public spaces were designed to flaunt largeness, luxury and panache; the private spaces wore a mood more sheltered with a darkening palette associated with cozy comfort. The materials curated for this project were picked with care to enhance this core concept– a base shell finished in ivory tones making the perfect backdrop; wood for its versatility – a timeless material that exudes charm and familiarity; highlights of elite marble that glamourises the interiors, is cool to touch and adds finesse and elegance; hand plasters in grey that add a rustic undertone to the classy interiors. Curated lighting added bling, transforming the interiors from big to sophisticated. The result was a home that bedazzled while also comforted.
