The colonization of space is a necessary step for the evolution of human
civilization, it will also be a guarantee of survival for the species.
The current consumption of resources is unsustainable in the medium term
for our society. The Erebus space city project addresses the
possibility of establishing a permanent mining colony on Ceres, a dwarf
planet located in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. The
project was presented in the international competition Leap, being awarded an honorable mention from the contest editors.
