This work illustrates the beauty of traditional bamboo weaving craft with the style of flowing space, thus creating a "connection" between the craft in the past and the digital space that represents the future. The weaving of free-form surface creates textures of different density and portraits a flowing space that connects and communicates between the inside and the outside as well as between the upside and the downside.

Bamboo is a sustainable and environmentally friendly material, and it's rarely used in modern society because of its natural defects. This work uses high-temperature processed bamboo materials developed by Taiwan Forestry Bureau and is combined with modern new-style spaces, hoping to re-enter the bamboo materials into the modern social environment which could make it be recognized and accepted by the public, also to show off the special beauty of the shape of the bamboo materials after bending by the way.

Structurally speaking, bamboo splints are woven into the warp and woof of strong curving surfaces, which are then supported by four sets of vertical pillars. The spatial composition that the bamboo slices and bamboo pipes are overlapped with a small angle and gradually shifted upwards is inspired by the axial fibers of the bamboo tube, avoiding the damage of the axial fibers of the bamboo tube. Such precise and economic construction brings forth a work of bamboo structure that "connects" Taiwan's craftmanship and modernity in the 2020 Taoyuan Land Art Festival.

Make the upper horizontal thick bamboo slices, loft and bake them to the specified shape, fix them on four columns,  then woven and fix the vertical bamboo slices into four different free-form curved surface. The vertical bamboo pieces can be cyclically connected to the four vertical columns to achieve a flowing space effect.The bamboo works which bottom metal chassis stands on its own weight and the assembly of metallic components and cables has high safety can be divided into four parts and transported by pallet trucks.

 The work carries the form of digital design as well as numbers traditional bamboo weaving and bamboo pipe skills，leading light and shadow at night Mapped on the ground through bamboo which is pretty poetic.
