This project consisted of an addition, tenant improvement and façade renovation in the city of Downey. The original 32,000 SF building was previously occupied by a Beachs Market. The project included grading, paving and striping the parking lot for better circulation and to provide the required ADA parking stalls; new sewer, water, and storm drain and storm water retention systems, site lighting, landscaping . The façade models Vallarta Supermarket’s corporate image. Elements of this design include exterior cement plaster finishes, entrance towers with one piece mission clay tile roofs and exposed rafter tails, arched and covered walkways, stone veneer column bases, and decorative wall sconces.
