New York, NY
Originally built as a hotel in 1908, The Breslin, on Broadway and 29th Street - like many of its neighbors - saw its glory fade as the neighborhood changed. This 262-room hotel, operated by Alex Calderwood of Ace Hotels, includes a destination restaurant called The Breslin and a Stumptown Coffee shop. Efficient and comfortable Roman and Williams custom furnishings define the guest rooms while the lobby is an insouciant mixture of vintage and custom furnishings.
