AP+E is a design and research studio based in Amsterdam and Copenhagen. Founded in 2011 by Jeffrey Bolhuis and Laurence Lord, we work across the boundaries of architecture, urban design and regional redevelopment.

We pursue a diverse range of scale of projects with research forming a core constituent in the outcome of each. We believe in solutions that establish new connections and that add value to their context. Through extensive analysis of existing conditions and potential future needs, we are able to achieve results that exceed requirements.

Both partners have considerable experience in project management from previous positions in architecture offices in The Netherlands, the UK and in Ireland. Our work has won awards and is internationally published.
