KAMJZ was established in 2012 by Kuryłowicz & Associates and Maciej Jakub Zawadzki to pursue international competitions and commissions in the fields of architecture and urbanism.

Kuryłowicz & Associates K&A is a renowned Polish architectural studio with offices in Warsaw and Wrocław. It consists of 85 employees: experienced architects, engineers, sustainable and structural consultants, who are present in all phases of each project. The portfolio of the company includes built work and a number of conceptual projects. They received numerous awards and were featured in various publications. In 2010 K&A was honored with Forbes Diamond Award for best managed companies.
Maciej Jakub Zawadzki MJZ, acknowledged by the Wallpaper Magazine in the Graduate Directory, gained experience during his work in the best Polish and international architectural offices.
Through a series of award-winning design projects MJZ has created an international reputation as a member of a new generation of architects who combine professional analysis and experimentation. In 2011 his project, Miami Pier Museum of Latin American Immigrants in Florida, was nominated for the prestigious Building of the Year Award in the World Architecture Festival in Barcelona.
Maciej Jakub Zawadzki worked in one of the most renown offices in the world – Bjarke Ingels Group BIG based in Copenhagen and MVRDV in Rotterdam.
As a result of his previous experience he formed the design group MJZ in Warsaw.
