8A Architecten is a young and ambitious architectural office founded by Dutch architect Robert Uijttewaal. We are located at the Creative Factory, Maassilo Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Our main focus is designing buildings and interiors. We aim to give the buildings an expression which is integrated with the use and identity of the building. Our buildings stand in service of the user and have a clear human scale. The buildings have a sustainable character and a strong relation with the surroundings. Our designs characterise themselves by a clear geometrical form language.

We work on several projects, varying from small-scale assignments such as interiors, rebuilds and residential houses, to large-scale assignments such as public buildings, housing, office buildings and industrial buildings.
