scalar Architecture is based in the United States and Spain. The firm engages in disciplinary modes of architectural design and practice, particularly as they apply to landscape and urban design. These issues are illustrated by the recently completed Casa Lazo in Santander, Spain; the Ball Residence on Branch Lake, Maine; and the International First Prize for the redevelopment of Hamar, Norway (in association w/ Marc Brossa). Additionally, the firm was awarded the Young Architects Forum Award from the Architectural League.
