Amanda Martocchio Architecture + Design, LLC is a full-service architecture and interior design firm established in NYC in 2001 and relocated to New Canaan, CT in 2002. The firm is the recipient of the biennial 2011 Emerging Architectural Firm Award given by the Connecticut Chapter of the American Institute of Architects which highlights a Connecticut firm that is committed to design excellence and is gaining recognition through a body of built work. AMA+D also received the 2010 Tucker Design Award from the Building Stone Institute and both the 2011 and 2007 Innovation in Design Awards in Architecture from Cottages & Gardens magazine. Additionally, AMA+D’s work has been featured in numerous publications, including Metropolitan Home, athome, and Connecticut Cottages & Gardens magazines.
Amanda Martocchio has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University and a Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Design. In addition to being principal of AMA+D, Ms. Martocchio has held positions at various NYC firms including Polshek Partnership (now Ennead). Ms. Martocchio is registered in New York, Connecticut and Rhode Island, is a LEED-certified professional of USGBC, and a member of the American Institute of Architects..
