We are a New York City based firm that have worked on projects at both large and small scales for various clients ranging from real estate management and development companies, to apartment buildings and private owners. Joseph Levine and Kevin Bone, the two principals, have maintained an architectural practice since 1982. The work of the studio has involved architectural design, historic preservation, and environmental restoration.
A significant portion of the studio works has been devoted to the renovation and conversion of existing buildings and the improvement of building systems in New York City. Our projects include numerous significant historic preservation projects and extensive experience in exterior envelope maintenance, structural upgrading, and building alterations and additions.
The practice has also been involved in many research projects that have focused on the infrastructure of New York City's harbors, piers, river walls, wet lands, tunnels, watersheds, aqueducts, reservoirs and other structures that are essential to the city. These studies have culminated in two exhibitions and one publication on the waterfront and water works of New York City.
