MBH ARCHITECTURE, LLC, founded in 1973 by Michael B. Herlands, has specialized in all facets of Healthcare related Projects for more than twenty five years. In each of our projects, we have endeavored to provide environments that raise the spirit and quality of life for each of its users.
Historically, our project experience includes over one hundred and sixty (160) Hospital Projects, seventeen (17) Medical Offices, over one hundred and twenty (120) Nursing Homes, ten (10) Behavioral Health / Substance Abuse Facilities, fifteen (15) Assisted Living Facilities and twelve (12) Residential Projects of Multi- Family and Active Adult Living. Several of those projects were unique and addressed the need for a different direction in the care for the Patients. They were driven by their selective programming directions and the desire to provide environments that de-emphasized institutional care and encouraged a residential community.

As a result of our experience in nearly 300 Healthcare Projects in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New York and New Jersey, the Firm has developed an excellent working relationship with the Department of Public Health and Department of Social Services in each of the respective States.
