Koko Architecture and Design is a creative partnership established by the husband and wife team of Adam Weintraub and Mishi Hosono.

In 2009, their work was awarded the prestigious International Will Ching Award by the IIDA. In 2004, the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter named the studio as one of ten “faces of the future." A film presenting recent projects by Koko was presented in the New York Center for Architecture. Koko’s Projects have been featured in various publications including The New York Times, Cookie Magazine, Contract Magazine, Oculus, and Metropolis.

As a young studio, Koko Architecture + Design is dedicated to the importance of craft in modern architecture. While specialization within a discipline has its role, the studio is committed to design in the widest possible sense: From the bend of an elevated railway to the curve of a playground slide.
