Fawn Galli brings a fresh eye and a modern mastery of color to interior design. With a nod to the past but a focus most firmly tuned to today, Galli creates inspired interiors that meld the traditional and the modern.
A well-traveled explorer, Galli finds inspiration in a myriad of worlds including fashion, textiles, 70s disco, and nature. She harmoniously mingles the old and the new, vintage and contemporary, all with a personal touch. Her layered, and sometimes color drenched, interiors employ unexpected materials, such as silk damask drapes with hemp tie-backs. All designed with the aim of creating spaces that are distinctive and memorable. And, most importantly, reflective of each client’s taste and lifestyle while also being truly livable.
Fawn Galli Interior Design is a full-service, high-end residential and commercial firm with extensive experience in all aspects of interior design from construction management and renovations to overseeing every detail of the decorating process. Projects range from a Newport, Rhode Island property with guest house, and homes in
Connecticut and the Hamptons, to a West Village townhouse, to the Soho offices of a film editing company, as well as her own Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn townhouse.
Fawn Galli founded her eponymous design firm in 2007, first working out of her West Village apartment before moving to larger offices in the Gramercy Park neighborhood where she is based today. After graduating college with a Political Science degree, Galli spent a few years in Paris studying French and upon her return to the U.S. took a position in the European furniture department at Christie’s.
Galli got her start in interior design working for Robert A.M. Stern, where her many projects included Mr. Stern’s own loft and apartment. She then worked with Peter Marino before spending a couple years in Madrid, Spain, and then launching her own firm.
Fawn Galli’s work has been featured in House Beautiful (March 2012 cover story), Domino, O at Home, New York Times, and Wall Street Journal, among other outlets. She lives in Brooklyn with her architect husband and two young sons.
