ALEXANDER COMPAGNO, architecture + design was founded on 2000. Since its inception, the firm's practice has been a reflection of the City itself: vibrant and diverse.
Born and raised in New York City, Alex studied the history and disciplines of art, design and architecture at Vassar College Parsons School of Design and Columbia University before attending Yale University where he received his Masters of Architecture. Upon graduating, he practiced at some of the preeminent architectural firms in the City before striking out on his own.
Under his direction, his firm's portfolio of work has included an array of residential projects, large scale commercial developments, historic restorations and retail designs.
Because of the great variety of his practice, each new project is addressed with a fresh approach and sensitivity, and guided by thoroughness and discipline. By collaborating closely with his clients, goals are set, visions shared and designs created, all leading to a successful realization and construction.
