FERAL OFFICE is a design studio engaged in Architecture, Urban Prototypes and Art Installations.

We work as both architects and as artists/makers to propose interventions which act as tools of transformation in the existing city. 

Whether a new typology of building structures, an urban prototype or an intervention on the scale of personal space - these devices facilitate a new scenario and an enchantment of space. We look for situations of urgency, which are not always visible – a crisis of space, of the public realm, of energy - seeing this as a chance for unexpected solutions. Inspiration is taken in equal measure from new technology as well as fairy-tale narratives, from structural inventions as well as the poetic imagination.
