Thomas (Trades) was started in Richmond, Va in 2004 as a purely painting, flooring and carpentry business. In 2009 we decided Thomas (Trades) needed an overhaul and made a few changes to our business plan. We became an LLC and began actively incorporating design elements into our already established contracting repertoire. When our company's owner finished his degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia in early 2010 designing "renovative" solutions for our clients became our full-time focus.
