Brawer Hauptman + Larkin Architects is an architecture, planning and interior design firm located in Philadelphia. Founded in 1986, our ten person firm has worked on a wide range of projects for a diverse group of institutional, commercial, civic and private clients.
Our primary focus is working with non-profit institutions in the fields of
Our projects include new construction, renovations and additions as well as Facility Assessments, Feasibility Studies, and Master Plans. We have received national recognition for many of our custom residences.
We have been honored with design awards from the American Institute of Architects, the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia, the General Building Contractors Association as well as numerous industry publications. We have been finalists in design competitions that address social and environmental concerns. We are proud to have been responsible for the first LEED Silver project in North Philadelphia and the first project in the country to receive LEED credit points for incorporating a charrette workshop into the design process.
Most of our clients are represented either by building committees made up of volunteers who have never undertaken a building project before and look to us to guide them through the process, or by professional building departments responsible for a large inventory of demanding facilities and require a nimble and knowledgeable firm who is familiar with their standards, protocols and requirements. We have the proven ability to understand and address both of those needs and to lead the project appropriately, professionally, and responsively.
As a full service design firm, Brawer Hauptman + Larkin manages all aspects of the design process from the initial feasibility study through the final punch list. We create a physical form that expresses the vision of our clients. We look forward to sharing this process with you.
