DREAM (for Dimitri Roussel Ensemble Architecture Métropole) is an architecture firm founded in 2018. Dimitri Roussel is supported by about thirty collaborators with international profiles, and a creative vision nourished by humanism. Their complementary skills cover a wide range of competencies, from urban planning to construction details.
DREAM creates spaces adapted to today's lifestyles, promoting well-being and encounters in work and living spaces, with ecology at the heart of its project design. The agency develops bioclimatic architecture using responsible construction methods and favors collaboration with local partners who share the same values.
DREAM strives to address each local issue, whether social, territorial, or climatic, with tailored proposals in terms of facilities, materials, or urban planning. The proposed solutions are scalable and/or sustainable, depending on the program's needs.
With its expertise and values, DREAM is now one of the specialists in wood design in France. The agency designed a 7-story office building in the ZAC Saint-Jean Belcier in Bordeaux, which is one of the first laminated wood buildings of this height in France, as well as one of the first to have been labeled BBCA. Many of the agency's projects incorporate this type of structure, like the 4,000 m² ESAT in Villejuif, the 5,640 m² housing program in Velizy Morane Saulnier, or the 125,000 m² wood structure office campus with the agencies François Leclercq and Nicolas Laisné Architects.
