Arthur Blanc graduated in 2018 from the Federal Polytechnic School of Lausanne (EPFL). He decided to immediately start his own independent architecture activity while he also became involved in teaching. He joined Professor Alexandra Midal at the Geneva University of Art and Design as an assistant. He then integrated with the "Atelier Alice" of Professor Dieter Dietz at EPFL as a collaborator in teaching and project management.
Nicolas Uebersax started his bachelor's degree at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, and eventually graduated from the Federal Polytechnic School of Zurich (ETHZ) in 2019. He then decided to live between Switzerland and Spain to begin his activity as an independent architect. This move allowed him to capitalize on available opportunities, expose himself to different architectural understandings, and broaden his cultural background.
Motivated by the strong bonds of friendship forged during their studies, a shared vision of architecture, and mutual recognition of their personal investment in their work, Arthur and Nicolas decided to join forces. They established Blanc Uebersax Architectes after winning their first open competition in 2019.
