Sarah Carpenter & Studio is an architecture and design studio specializing in hospitality design.  

Our design philosophy is deeply influenced by our architecture backgrounds; we find inspiration in the celebration of materials, sculptural volumes and thoughtful construction.

Each space is an intuitive response to the lives, businesses and personalities of our clients. We are lucky to work with some of the best - and most inspiring - chefs, designers and entrepreneurs and hope that our work absolutely reflects their talents. 

Our work ranges in scale from a 350 SF ice cream shop to a 20,000+ SF conversions of an existing parking garage into a hospitality/Food Hall space; we are adept at both and use our backgrounds working at design offices as varied as: high profile Architects, narrative driven Interior Design studios and scrappy Architects of Record in order to create a robust style of working that is specific to the variables of each project. 

We work collaboratively and flexibly, but always with the intent of producing the best quality product for a given schedule, budget and concept.
