JSA/MIXdesign is composed of two overlapping entities: JSA, a full service architecture and interior design studio, and MIXdesign, an Inclusive Design consultancy.

JSA, established in 1989 and licensed to practice architecture in NY, NJ, CT, and PA, is a minority-owned architectural studio certified by the NGLCC as an LGBT Business Enterprise with a track record for delivering award-winning institutional and residential projects from Schematics through Construction Administration.

MIXdesign, launched in 2018, is a think-tank and Inclusive Design consultancy dedicated to considering the needs of a broad segment of the population that the discipline of architecture has traditionally overlooked: people of different ages, genders, races, religions, and disabilities.
