LAA Office is a multi-disciplinary design studio that explores the territory between landscape, art, and architecture. Projects range from small-scale artworks, exhibitions, temporary installations, and furniture, to large-scale buildings, landscapes, and urban design proposals. Our current work focuses on synthesizing public art and public space to create more participatory and inclusive models for activating cities. We seek to instill openness into our process and to create flexible spaces and objects that are ambiguous in how they imply function. In this sense, our work is a playful invitation for the public to engage with cities creatively.
