MAOarch is a boutique full-services architectural firm with a very hands-on approach. We specialize in luxury retail, workplace and residential projects, but we do not limit ourselves to certain project types. We find a unique and customized process for each project, with the goal to provide a one-of-a-kind experience for our clients. 

The small nature of our firm allows us to provide personalized and dedicated attention to each of our clients. We believe that at the core of every successful project is a collaborative relationship that is built on trust, honesty and flexibility. 

MAOarch was found in Spring 2018 by Maori Hughes, AIA, a registered architect with 15+ years of experience in retail and commercial projects of all scales, both nationally and internationally. Maori left her Principal position at a larger NYC firm to create MAOarch, a collaborative and ego-free environment where individuals can grow to become well-rounded professionals and work happily.
