Carpenter & Mason is an architecture and design studio specializing in hospitality design.  

C+M is the work of husband and wife team Sarah Carpenter and Chris Horger and is run from our studio in Gowanus, Brooklyn.

Our aim is to design spaces for people to enjoy, to provide a backdrop for life to happen.  Our design philosophy is deeply influenced by our architecture backgrounds; we find inspiration in the celebration of materials, details and thoughtful construction.  More and more we live in a world of the overly designed and we believe that editing is the most important part of the design process.
