The German-Chinese architecture firm Synarchitects sees itself as an interface between Asia and Europe. In the 10th anniversary of the partnership between Dipl.-Ing. Daniel Schwabe and Dipl.-Ing. Yingxi Zou engineers from several disciplines focus on innovative concepts in design and execution.
With over fifteen first prizes won in competitive bidding, the studio is successfully represented in the fiercely competitive Chinese construction market.
The studio in Beijing has existed since 2004 and together with the partner office Longan Boyuan Architectural Consulting has about 50 permanent employees from China and Germany. Synarchitects is currently building the prestigious Longmen Museum in Luoyang, as well as the one million square meter multi-development Ningbo Dongfang in the port city of Ningbo.
Further major projects are being planned. Builders include China Mobile, China Metallurgical Corporation and various state-owned institutions and privately-held real estate companies.
