The core of our practice is based on a methodology we refer to as Generative Criticism. This is a way of approaching the lineage of each project critically, through research and writing prior to making, to put forth provocative approaches that subvert the norm.
There are no new projects in architecture. Each project has a lineage. While it may be unique, it is inherently under the influence of many fields, each with their own history and conventions. By learning about these conventions, norms, and standards, we can find ways to rethink them.
