Interior design and a passion for beautiful things are in Lori Margolis’ blood. Raised by her mother, an interior designer, Lori grew up with a deep appreciation for design, fashion and art. She spent her childhood exposed to furnishings from all over the world.
After graduating college with degrees in business and law, Lori used these skills to turn her passion for vintage glamour and beautiful things into a successful business. She began her career in fashion by curating vintage couture and accessories for high-end clients. Lori’s talent in creating eclectic glamour for New York’s elite quickly led her to open her own boutique off of Madison Avenue called JBM Vintage, which specialized in only the finest vintage fashion. Her unique eclectic flair landed her features in Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Gotham Magazine, The New York Times, Hamptons Magazine, and many others. Lori also worked with some of Hollywood’s most prominent stylists in creating vintage glamour for the Sex and the City movie, and television shows, such as Confession of a Shopaholic and Ugly Betty.
Once Lori began curating vintage furnishings and home accessories in her boutique, her clients began to turn to her for interior design advice and Lori Margolis Interiors was born. In just five years, Lori Margolis has become known as one of New York’s most creative residential and commercial designers.
With a distinct eclectic, sophisticated, high fashion artistic flair, Lori’s high-end clientele seek her out to create beautiful yet functional living and work spaces.
