Located in East Dallas, NeatBuilt offers a thoughtful approach to custom home design and renovation. Our style is predominantly modern, incorporating clean lines and minimal design into homes that are inviting and easy to live in. We have over ten years of design and construction management experience.

In every project, our goal is to create a space in harmony with a client’s wants and needs, the site’s unique variables, and the surrounding environment, including sunlight, wind and vegetation. We design for the long-term, build with integrity, and incorporate energy efficiency and sustainability into each project. And while every project calls for its own scale and materials, we think less is more, and have a soft spot for concrete, metals, and wood.     

Lou Simmons AIA, Owner

Lou Simmons is the owner and architect behind NeatBuilt. He's a licensed architect in the State of Texas with ten years experience in design and construction management. He's had the good fortune of working for and with some of the most respected modern architects in Dallas, which has influenced his take on the built environment and inspired him to start his own practice.
