OSports has a rich heritage of sports and entertainment planning and design dating back to 1909, when the firm designed League Park, the first home of Cleveland's major league baseball teams, including the Spiders, the Buckeyes of the Negro Leagues, and the Cleveland Indians.   Since then, we've been privileged to design some of the nation's most beloved venues including stadia, ballparks, race tracks, arenas and multi-purpose / multi-sport facilities.

We have the distinct advantage of applying our knowledge of the “fan experience” from our work with professional sports to collegiate venues. Our passion and knowledge for these venues is undeniable; we understand the idiosyncrasies of sports and entertainment design and drive the innovations that will be the basis for tomorrow’s facilities.  Our success is rooted in our founding principles that focus our commitment to understand and deliver on our clients’ needs, desires and future interests. We have been pioneers in our profession since the inception of our firm in 1892. OSports' innovation milestones include:

• The first concrete sports stadiums, which replaced the fire-prone wooden structures common in 1909
• The larger, double-deck stadium design seen at Yankee Stadium and Fenway Park
• The second generation of stadiums, engineered by cantilevering the upper decks to remove view-obstructing columns
• Stadium lighting upgrades with the need for night events and viewing
