Michael De Luna, AIA, Architect, P.C. was formed in 1994. Michael De Luna is an architect with a diverse background, a graduate of The City College and a great lover of historic New York. He has worked with two firms specializing in residential and commercial work, with an emphasis on historic restoration: Beyer, Blinder Belle and Rothzeid Kaiserman Thomson and Bee.
Michael De Luna has developed an interest in the reality of development and construction in New York. He has turned clients' projects into reality through twenty years of experience in working with the New York City Building Code, the Zoning Resolution, and the Landmarks Preservation Commission.
Michael De Luna, AIA, Architect, P.C. has specialized in interior renovation of apartments, restaurants, and office spaces. Through his designs he helps clients make the most of the space they have. He strives to find the simple solutions to problems and to create lasting, meaningful and uncluttered designs.
Clients find that his approach to design coupled with years of experience working with NYC Department of Buildings and other city agencies make a potent combination in turning their dreams into reality. This eliminates the need to hire a separate Code/Zoning Consultant, and allows for work within tight time frames.
Michael De Luna was the former chairman of the AIA Code Committee. He remains on the cutting edge in what is new in building technology, code changes, and filing procedures at the city agencies.
