Our Story
In 1991, Jim Bickel created an architectural firm specializing in innovative design and uncommonly detailed service. Over two decades since our founding, we have developed a distinct design philosophy. We believe that it is possible to create a building or environment in which the entirety of the project is more valuable than the aggregate of its individual components.
Our philosophy is to ensure that the final project has a value greater than the capital invested. To achieve this, our experienced staff listens to the goals and desires of our clients. Through collaboration and careful examination of each step, from the macro to micro, the Bickel Group has completed construction documents for commercial, healthcare, restaurant, educational, religious, residential and adaptive reuse projects with a construction value totalling nearly $500 million.
