Garrison Foundry Architecture + Decor (GFA) is an architecture and interior design studio located in the Hudson Valley, New York. We specialize in residential and commercial design and service the NYC and Tri-state areas.

Our approach emphasizes a balance, unique to client and location. Drawing upon a variety of styles, periods and influences, we create highly customized design with a particular focus on natural materials and passive technologies. We aim to make our spaces better, yet simpler. We strive to add value to our homes and industries. 

Annie Mennes, AIA, founded GFA in 2012 after she moved to the Hudson Valley with her family. She graduated from Columbia's School of Architecture in 2004. She has spent over fifteen years working as a project manager for high-end residential and commercial firms like Robert A.M. Stern, Roman and Williams, and Space 4 Architecture. Annie founded GFA on simple principles; our understanding of light, texture, color and scale, as well as our sense of home and our ability to delight and create new experiences within our built environment.
