I am a passionate interdisciplinary thinker with bachelor's and master's degrees in landscape architecture. I believe that the power of pragmatic aesthetics rooted in place-making can positively influence our problematic social issues and unintentionally arouse public awareness of a more sustainable lifestyle.

- Rendered master plan (4150000sq ft) based on construction drawing to add color and texture
- Analyzed traffic division in Photoshop to indicate safety design for pedestrian and vehicle
- Quantified areas in AutoCAD and prepared budgetary cost estimates in Microsoft Excel

➤ Design, Model, and Graphic Support: Urban Residential Community Redevelopment
- Upgraded the feature wall design in SketchUp and updated perspective in Photoshop
- Arranged plant clusters on draft site plan and enriched planting effect in SketchUp
- Drew detailed sections with specific scale in AutoCAD to indicate drainage strategy

➤ Creative Work: Commercial Plaza Logo & Signage Systems
- Designed logo in Illustrator and compiled graphics as slides for negotiation with the client
- Researched and provided 3 alternative materials for the signboards, rendered perspectives in Photoshop to discuss the best visual effects with the senior designer

- Developed site master plan with mixed-use parcels that included educational, commercial, hospitality, incubator, and residential structures to form a collaborative living mode
- Introduced a new pedestrian-oriented grid system to break down the existing car-based grid
- Embedded ecological interventions in various landscapes to control the flood effectively

➤ Connect Chinatown: Reorganize Circulation and Mixed-use Spaces
- Proposed a linear pavement pattern to solve both permeability and circulation problems
- Explored an understanding toward “landscape surface” through making fabric collage, conducting case study, and producing exploded view diagram
- Integrated commercial activities into spatial form of plaza to harmonize residents and visitors

➤ Interdisciplinary Project: Design For Covid-19
- Proposed graphic intervention with multi-scale application on street space, ground pavement, building facades, and landscape canopy to indicate social distance
- Visualized strategies in site model(Rhino) and rendered oblique view(Ai) for presentation
- Created a flexible modular streetscape to coordinate different movements and programs
- Rendered perspectives (Ps) to showcase the “urban forest” effect created by columns and plants

➤ Physical Modeling: Forms and Flows Along the Chicago River
- Constructed hand-made cardboard pieces to explore concepts and refined ideas in Rhino
- Articulated laser cut machine to process cardboard for building a detailed physical model
