Private Residential refurbishment and extension.

Feix&Merlin have completed an extension and refurbishment of a large family home in Clapham, South London. 

The proposals include a bold new extension to the rear, as well as new bedroom and bathrooms, and full refurbishment and redecoration throughout. 

The ground floor extension creates a new open plan shared kitchen and dining space, and resolved all the level changes across the floor, opening up rear elevation, embracing the garden with a new terrace and steps down to the lawn.  

The extension is clad in brick featuring large format floor to ceiling crittal style windows and doors. The kitchen area is set back and has a slatted timber canopy above creating its own character within the overall elevation.
