My name is Federica Corrà and I born in Padua in 1988, a beautiful City near Venice.
I took the Master Degree in Construction Architecture in Politecnico of Milano in April 2013, with the quotation of 110/110 and I have been working as Project Architect at David Chipperfield Architects in Milan since September 2013.
My last work experiences let me become acquainted with the retail and the luxury world: I worked on the interiors fitting of Mudec Museum in Milan, on luxury residences in Beirut and I am actually working on the new Bally Store Concept and on the Travel Retail Concept.
In particular I am following as Project Architect the Bally Flagship Store in Rodeo Drive Street, Beverly Hills, on a series of minor stores in Hong Kong, Beijing, Macau, Dalian and I have inaugurated in the TFWA exposition the new Bally corner with David Chipperfield Architects concept in Cannes, Palais des Festivals.
Thanks to these last experiences, I have had the possibility to deal first-hand with the client, the consultants and the suppliers in an international environment. My working experience at David Chipperfield Architects has increased my communication, organization and collaboration skills in order to work efficiently in a highly creative and disciplined environment. I have learn to define and solve complex problems, sometimes in a few time, to coordinate a team and to complete tasks accurately also in stressful contexts as I have assumed a great capacity of organization tasks.
The internships, workshops and Erasmus (Lisbon, Portugal) experiences during my university period have given me the opportunity to meet other cultures. During my one year experience abroad, I came in contact with the Portuguese and Brasilian architectural practices, thanks to my professor Ricardo Bak Gordon, who worked with Mendes Da Rocha, and I acquired their clean and linear design approach.
I am a flexible and dynamic person, determined to learn and willing to travel. My qualities are of the highest commitment, seriousness and precision.
