Back in December, Volume magazine contacted Archinect to communicate their milestone 10th issue. We were a little apprehensive to cover the news in one of our common formats because our colleague Geoff Manaugh was already conducting his own set of interviews of Volume's editorial trio of Ole Bouman , Jeffrey Inaba , and Mark Wigley over at BLDGBLOG . After thorough and careful deliberation we came up with another angle to approach our subjects through the very fabric of Archinect itself—the discussion section. For the last few months we have dedicated our spare time to discuss with our esteemed peer editors over at Volume the ever-evolving role and context of architectural publications in light of new media in a digital age. These topics orbited around their positioning of Volume and its unique framework of academia, praxis, and publication. We now offer this discussion to you, the members of the Archinect community, to read and participate.
