Lunar New Year would be a more accurate term rather than Chinese New Year as the new year is determined by the lunar cycle and is celebrated by many other people in different ways. For example, Koreans celebrate the new year at this time of the year in ways very different to the Chinese.

I totally agree with that. Doesn't Indian have one as well? Then it should be called as Indian New Year? Where else celerbrates lunar new year?
