Hi,
I am a graduate student of interior design at Savannah College of Art and Design. I pursued a bachelor's degree in environmental design, but most of my courses were centered around interior design. Because I was drawn to interior design from a young age, longing for a beautiful and comfortable living space, unfortunately, I didn't have. Therefore, I aspire to use my expertise and skills to improve people's living environments, making their living spaces more pleasant and inviting.
After completing my undergraduate degree, I gained nearly two years of experience as an interior design assistant. Throughout my work experience, I've developed substantial teamwork skills and have delved deeply into creating design drawings and renderings.
During that time, severe environmental pollution and the resulting decline in air quality heightened my awareness of human health and sustainability. I realized the significant role interior design could play in addressing these concerns, which motivated me to pursue my graduate studies.
At SCAD, I've advanced my knowledge of interior codes, sustainable design, project management, design theories and philosophy. And I served as a Peer Tutor at SCAD, instructing and helping other students in Interior Design courses and software, including Photoshop, Enscape, Revit, Sketch Up, AutoCAD and others.
Looking ahead, I'm focused on my career development and have decided to chase NCIDQ certification. I'm currently preparing for the IDFX exam in April. I believe that my efforts can contribute to creating healthier and more sustainable interior spaces, thereby enhancing the life quality for people.

I played an active role in the design of shops and restaurants within a parent-child playground, collaborating in the evolution and refinement of design concepts. My responsibilities encompassed creating floor plans, elevations, detailed drawings, and 3D perspective views. Additionally, I developed material boards and conducted research on fixtures and furnishings to ensure they aligned with the project's requirements and design style.

I collaborated on the production of material mood boards and the selection of materials, playing a key role in shaping the project's aesthetic. Additionally, I assisted in creating detailed drawings, renderings, and presentation slides, contributing to the visual communication of our designs. My involvement in design development was marked by active collaboration, where I helped bring concepts to fruition. Beyond design, I managed social media accounts and wrote articles, effectively conveying our design concepts and works to a wider audience. Moreover, I was responsible for managing a material library, ensuring a well-organized and accessible resource for our team.
